Famous and single-word names are priced individually, depending on how famous the name is, from 2 cents a day and up.

How do I pay for a famous name?
With XPoints. XPoints are xmail's internal credit: you top up your balance yourself, and the daily price of the name is paid from it.
Is a free xmail account only for forwarding?
No. A free account is a real 1 GB mailbox with webmail, IMAP and SMTP (switching on shortly). Until then, mail already reaches your address.
Can I use my own mail app with a free account?
Yes, once your mailbox switches on. Use imap.xmail.com on port 993 for incoming mail and smtp.xmail.com on port 465 or 587 for outgoing mail.
